Michael clark v.
FOUNDING PARTNER
Michael currently serves as Executive Director and Founding Partner of Redwood Capital, with more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, project finance and institutional distribution.
Previously, Michael held various investment banking positions at Banco Penta, BBVA Asesorías Financieras, Empyrean Capital Partners and Countrywide Financial Corporation, in Chile and the United States. Michael has served as director of various entities supervised by the CMF (stock brokers, general fund managers, among others).
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from John Anderson School of Management, University of California Los Angeles.

Cristóbal holds an Industrial Civil Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, a Master in Economics from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and is currently pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Cristóbal currently serves as an External Advisor to Redwood Capital, after having served for four years as an Associate, were he formed and led the corporate finance team, being part of both the structuring and execution of the deals.
Prior to joining Redwood Capital, Cristóbal worked as an Investment Banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and as a corporate finance analyst at Banco Penta. During these periods, Cristóbal participated in the structuring and issuance of various securities and syndicated loans, and participated in various M&A processes, both in Chile and cross border.
